RAWALPINDI, Oct 9: The Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) will start infomation technology courses in collaboration with the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) for the industrial workers of Rawalpindi from January next.

A decision to this effect was taken at a joint meeting of the RCCI and FJWU.

The RCCI president, Suhail A. Sethi, appreciated the university for the cooperation.

The meeting was informed that the postgraduate diploma classes in information technology were continuing at the IT centre where a semester each for boy and girl students had been completed while a second semester would be completed in April 2002.

New classes would begin in March 2002, the meeting was informed. Students showing best results would be given scholarship.
