QUETTA, April 9: Two people were killed in Mand town of Kech district and two bullet-riddled bodies were found in Surab area of the Khuzdar district on Monday.

According to the Levies Force sources, four gunmen embarked on a Karachi-bound bus in Mand, a town on the Pakistan-Iran border, and shot dead two passengers.

Identified as Asif Javed of Lahore and Qasir Javed of Sargodha, the victims had come to town from Iran and were going to Punjab via Karachi.

The sources said that assailants, who came on motorcycles, escaped after committing the crime.

In Surab area of Khuzdar district, two bullet-riddled bodies were found. The Levies Force received information about the presence of bodies and took them to hospital.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Ahab and Shahabad of Khuzdar and Mule, respectively. They were shot in heads and chests.

THREE KILLED: Three people were killed and three others injured when two groups opened fire on each other in Usta Mohammad area of Jaffarabad district, according to police sources.

The cause of the clash was said to be a dispute over a piece of land. The injured were taken to a hospital.
