LAHORE, April 4: Asif Iqbal Khan and Maqsood Ahmed were elected as president and general secretary of the Punjab Judo Association (PJA) here on Wednesday.

According to a news release issued by the PJA, the elections were held under the supervision of the representatives from the Pakistan Judo Federation — Raashad Mahmood Butt, Sports Board Punjab Hafeez Bhatti — and Khawar Shah from the Punjab Olympic Association.

Office-bearers: Asif Iqbal Khan (president); Farooq Aziz, Muzammil, Pervaiz, Dr Rizwana, Samina, M. Zubair (vice-presidents); Maqsood Ahmed (general secretary); Qamar Shakeel (associate secretary); Mohammad Younus (treasurer).
