KARACHI, Feb 26: One more seeded player, this time a foreigner, fell prey in boys’ under-15 second round of the fourth Roshan Khan junior open squash at PN Roshan Khan-Jahangir Khan squash complex on Sunday.

Second seed Ranjeet Singh of India, who arrived from Delhi on Saturday night, met his fate losing in straight to outsider Ahsan Ayaz of the PAF. The latter won the battle 11-6, 11-3, 11-7.

Ranjeet’s compatriot Junaid Muzaffar Thoker, who is eighth seed in the category, got a walkover against Hussain Ejaz.

It may be mentioned that top seed in under-17 Shah Zeb made exit losing to unseeded Abdul Basit in the second round on Saturday.

Teenager Dorsham Khan, a Canadian of Pakistani origin, also completed his engagements when he was removed by top seed Hammas A. Tarar 11-2, 11-5, 11-3 in the boys’ under-13 second round.

According to organisers, matches in the girls’ under-15 and under-19 categories, start on Monday.
