MARDAN, Feb 13: Musarat Khan Asi and M Bashir Adil were elected as president and general secretary, respectively of the Mardan Press Club on Monday.

The former cabinet of the club was dissolved one and a half month ago but some members had got stay from the lower courts over holding of the press club elections owing to some differences among them. However, the elections were finally organised on Monday under the supervision of DSP city Adus Samad Khan, SHO city police station Shah Mumtaz Khan and the club member and election commissioner Riaz Mayar when the lower court vacated the stay.— Correspondent
