DADU: Demo against loadshedding

Published November 27, 2002

DADU, Nov 26: A large number of people staged a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Tuesday against the unscheduled load-shedding in the Dadu town.

The protesters were carrying banners and raising slogans against officials of Hesco.

Talking to newsmen, their representatives alleged owners of factories and poultry farms of stealing power with the connivance of Hesco officials. To cover the losses, they said, Hesco had started the load-shedding.

They deplored high officials of Hesco were also not taking any notice of the situation.
