LAHORE, Jan 7: Gojra and Sialkot qualified for the final of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Inter-Academy Hockey Championships on Saturday by winning their respective semi-finals at the Sialkot Stadium (Sialkot).

A match-winning solitary goal by Mubashar in the 44th minute helped Gojra beat Bahawalpur 1-0 in the first pre-final.

Likewise, Sialkot outclassed Lahore 4-1 in the second semi-final.

Hammad Zafar (1st min), Nohaiz Zahid (11th), Amir Sohail (38th) and Muhammad Ali (58th) scored for the wining side while Awais-ur-Rehman (45th) was the only scorer for the losing side.—Sports Reporter
