KARACHI, Dec 30: A suspected drug peddler was shot dead outside his house in a Sohrab Goth locality near the Superhighway on Friday, police said.

They said unidentified assailants riding a motorbike fired at 30-year-old Muhammad Ali, who was said to be present outside his house, and fled.

The police claimed that the victim was a drug peddler and cases were registered against him at the Sachal and Sohrab Goth police stations.

Meanwhile, two neighbours killed each other following an altercation over what police described as some petty issues in the Quaidabad area on Friday.

Police said that initially the two neighbours —28-year-old Sher Ali and 30-year-old Samiullah — had a heated argument words outside their houses in Bilal Colony within the remit of the Quaidabad police station and then pulled out their pistols and fired at each other.
