ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s boxers had mixed fortunes in the second Benazir Bhutto International Boxing Championship at the Liaquat Gymnasium on Saturday.

In the 60kg event, Mohammad Hussain won his bout 29-10 against Hoen Ali from Bangladesh while Qadir Khan crushed Michael Dodoo from Ghana 19-8.

Mohammad Waseem defeated Syria’s Marwan Dumairieh 17-5 in the 52kg category.

Nadir Baloch and A. Waheed lost their bouts 19-9 and 19-13 respectively against Bulgaria’s Stefan Ivanov and Kenya’s Neson Gichary.

M.V.I. Senveria from Sir Lanka defeated Sudesh Manahdar from Nepal 15-12 in the third bout.
