KARACHI, Dec 21: A brilliant century by Musharraf Khan inspired Baqai Dolphins to a thrilling five-run win over Aga Khan Gymkhana in the sixth NBP-KCCA Premier Cricket League here on Tuesday.

Musharraf scored exactly 100 with the aid of 11 boundaries as Baqai Dolphins made 281-7 in their 45 overs. Aga Khan Gymkhana, in reply, were all out for 276 in 42 overs with Mir Afzal Baig striking 11 fours and six in his fine innings of 85.

Saleem A. Raheem contributed 66 with eight fours, while Murtaza Majeed hit 55.

Off-spinner Yousuf Ahmed claimed four for 35 and Musharraf took two for 73.

In other matches, Faisal Gymkhana defeated A.O. CC by 57 runs at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium and Mohammad Hussain CC beat Rangers CC by eight wickets at the Nazir Hussain Ground.
