LAHORE, Dec 15: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf chairman Imran Khan has said Pakistan is roiled in terrorism because of its alliance with the US in Afghanistan war, says a press release.

Mr Khan was speaking to US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter and former ambassador Robin Raphael who called on him at the PTI central secretariat in Islamabad on Thursday.

He said the PTI believed in having good relations with all countries, including the United States, but “this partnership must not be at the cost of Pakistan's national interest.”

If the US wanted friendship with the people of Pakistan, it should stop violating its sovereignty through drone attacks and other incursions inside its territory, he added.
