Afghanistan Conference on December 5, 2011, in Bonn, western Germany. The one-day gathering brings around 100 national delegations and aid organisations to the former German capital Bonn, 10 years after a meeting in the city put an interim Afghan government in place after the Taliban's ouster. The major international conference on the war-torn country aims at charting a course for Afghanistan after Nato troops pull out in 2014, but a boycott by Pakistan has dealt a stinging blow to hopes for a roadmap.
