LAHORE, Nov 16: India’s blind cricket squad has arrived in Lahore through Wagah Border to play six Twenty20 matches, three each in Lahore and Islamabad.

Talking to reporters after the visitors reached here on the “Friendship Bus”, Indian team’s captain Shekhar Naik Lachma said he was in Pakistan with a message of friendship from India.

Shekhar hoped that his team’s tour to Pakistan would help attract other sporting teams to also visit Pakistan.

While Lahore will host the matches at the Lahore Gymkhana on Nov 18, 19, and 20, Diamond Club ground will be the venue for the Islamabad leg of games on Nov 22, 24 and 26.

Squad: Shekhar Naik Lachma (captain), Ganeshbhai Narayanbhai Bhusara, Sukhram Majhi, Hanuman Pooniya (all category B-3); Dunna Venkatesh, Prakasha Jayaramaiah, Pankaj Bhue, Hiteshbhai Gamanbhai Patel, Manvendra Singh Patwal (B-2); Simson Pushparaj, Mohammad Jafar Iqbal, Vikas Patel, Ketanbhai Babubhai Patel, Mahender Vaishnav, Subhash Bhoya (B-1).
