TAXILA, Nov 4: A swindler posing himself as a doctor deprived a woman of gold ornaments at THQ hospital, Hassanabdal on Friday. Sara Mubashir reported to police that she along with her mother-in-law came to the hospital where a fake doctor asked her to remove gold rings and bangles for the blood test. She said as soon as she removed the ornaments, the fake doctor took them and ran away. Hassanabdal police registered a case against the swindler and started further investigation.

It may be mentioned here that a number of female patients have previously been swindled of cash and gold ornaments by such elements in the hospital.— Correspondent
