THE University of Balochistan sub-campus, Turbat, the institution for higher education in Makran division, was established with the aim of providing quality education. Most experienced, skilled and qualified lecturers were deputed to impart education and share their knowledge with students.

If we take a look at the history of the sub-campus, we will notice that it has performed well due to tireless efforts of the faculty members as well as students. In this journey, students started getting their knowledge with limited resources, yet they have continued their education in an effective way.

Furthermore, the lecturers are sharing their best of knowledge and enhancing students’ education with different activities such as weekly quiz, weekly presentations, report writing, research on different issues and group study in a great learning environment in order to motivate and encourage students.

With the passage of time, now the commerce department is passing out in the upcoming December. It would be the first batch of this institution, but the irony is that there are no master’s classes which is the main problem for commerce students who will complete two years of education in commerce and would want to do their master’s but they have no university in the vicinity.

Students of the sub-campus are in need of master’s classes to carry on their education in their hometown.

The present situation is frustrating for the students who want to do their master’s.

The provincial education and other authorities concerned are requested to take steps to solve the issue on an urgent basis.
