LAHORE, Oct 19: A teenaged boy and a 35-year-old man were found murdered in different areas on Wednesday. The Sundar police found the decomposed body of 14-year-old Zafarullah, who worked in a factory and went missing a few days ago, in an outhouse in Mohlanwal.

Sub-Inspector Shaukat Ali said an unidentified man informed Muhammad Anwar, of Mohlanwal, by phone that his son’s body was lying in a room near a tubewell.

He said Anwar, also a factory worker, had lodged a complaint about the disappearance of his son a few days ago. The police seized the putrefied body and sent it for autopsy to determine the cause of death. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained.

The Nawab Town police said 35-year-old Robert Masih, of Burewala, was found murdered in a plot in Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Housing Society.

Robert was a watchman at an under-construction house in the society and his body was dumped in a hole.

The police sent the body for autopsy.

PRISONER DIES: A 55-year-old prisoner of Kot Lakhpat Jail died of illness on Wednesday.

Maqsood Ahmad, of Faqirabad, Peshawar, was incarcerated in connection with a case registered with Kotwali police of Sialkot. Maqsood was shifted to a hospital after his condition deteriorated in the barrack but to no avail.

The body was sent for autopsy.

Roof collapse: Two brothers were injured in a roof collapse at Bank Stop on Ferozepur Road on Wednesday.

Rescue 1122 pulled out Irfan Shabbir, 24, and Imran Shabbir, 26, from the rubble and provided them first aid.
