QUETTA, Oct 16: A decomposed body was found by police near the Mirani dam in Turbat district on Sunday, sources said. The body was taken to hospital where the deceased was identified as Mohammad Arif.

Meanwhile, a man was killed and another injured when gunmen attacked a vehicle in Shirani area. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Khan and the injured as Ajab Khan.

TANKER ATTACKED: Armed men on a motorbike attacked an oil tanker in Pringabad area of Mastung district and set it on fire, sources said.

The tanker was destroyed.

Police said the oil tanker, owned by a private company, was coming from Karachi to Quetta when it came under attack.

Meanwhile, security forces defused a landmine in Pirkoh area of Dera Bugti district.

Levies Force sources said unidentified men had planted the landmine on the Pirsori road which was detected by security forces.
