Five held in Kohat

KOHAT, Sept 17: The police on Saturday arrested two female dancers and three men and recovered a Kalashnikov from their possession on Rawalpindi road here.

The Gumbat police arrested the female dancers and the men when they were going back after performing in the KDA town on Friday night.

A Kalashnikov and cartridges were also seized from the men.

The police produced the female dancers, who had been brought from Rawalpindi and the participants, in the court and shifted them to the district prison.

Meanwhile, the two personnel of Frontier Corps, who had died during fighting with militants in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency, were laid to rest in their ancestral graveyards in Kamardhand and Buland Banda areas with full honors on Saturday.
