LAHORE, Sept 13: Two-goal Mohammad Bilal helped Aid-27 Faisalabad Zone beat FATA 5-0 on the second day of the National Under-19 Football Championship here on Tuesday.

Bilal struck in the 23rd the 70th minute, while Naveed (27th), Ali Aadil (51st) and Waqas Ahmad (80th) minute chipped in with one goal each.

In a well contested match, a 52nd-minute goal by Basit enabled Karachi to hold Punjab to 1-1 draw. Punjab had gained the lead in the 35th minute through Noman Aslam.

In a high scoring match, Rashid’s three goals helped Aid-27 Bannu Zone beat Gilgit Baltistan 6-3.

Rashid banged home in the 12th, 28th, 56th minutes while Asif Iqbal (18th, 70th) and Ali Murad (30th) were the other scorers for the winning side. Rizwan (15th, 40th) and Raheemullah (85th) were the scorers for the losers.—Sports Reporter
