KARACHI, Aug 6: A young man was shot dead in Jafar-i-Tayyar Housing Society in Malir.

The police said 27-year-old Syed Aqil Hussain was targeted near his home inside his shop.

“He ran a shop of cellphone accessories,” said Inspector Ali Hasan Sheikh, the SHO of the Malir City police station.

“A few people saw two men on a motorbike stop near his shop and flee after one of them fired at the victim. He suffered three bullets and died on the spot.”

Though the police showed their unawareness about the motive behind the killing, the investigator ruled out a robbery attempt as the reason behind the killing.—Staff Reporter
