ISLAMABAD, Aug 4: A worker of Employees Old Age Benefit and a software engineer, who had been missing for the last five days, was found murdered in the forest of Margalla Hills on Thursday, police said.

Farooq Hussain,25, was a native of Charsadha. His body was spotted by the police patrolling team while going to Pir Sohwa from Daman-i-Koh as the policemen felt foul smell emanating from the wooded area. Later, the Kohsar police were informed which shifted the body to the hospital for legal process. The victim received a single bullet fired from the close distance at the back of his head.

The police suspected that the killers were more than two persons and one of them attacked him with the pistol from the backside.

A purse containing CNIC, some official documents and visiting cards was recovered from the body. The police said the victim was residing in Fauji Colony, Rawalpindi and employed at Employees Old Age Benefit Rawalpindi office and was also a software engineer in a private firm.

His family was informed about the murder in Charsadha.
