SIALKOT, Oct 31: A ‘Jamhuriyat rally’ was held here on Thursday in connection with a week-long ‘Jamhuriyat Mela’ being celebrated in the district by the local district government.
Led by the district Nazim, the rally started from the historical Sialkot Fort and terminated at the railway station.
On this occasion, the speakers pledged to work for strengthening the roots of democracy in the country.
