HYDERABAD, June 17: Hyderabad outplayed Benazirabad in the PCB Inter-district Senior Cricket Tournament final (Hyderabad Region) by an innings and 26 runs at the Niaz Stadium here on Friday.

Benazirabad were bundled out for 202 after resuming their second innings at 150-6 in the morning. Haris Khan (64), Asad Ali (26) and Sadaqat Ali (25) remained prominent scorers. Off-spinner Nasir Awais claimed five wickets for 64 while Noman Ali took two for 26.

Hyderabad made a huge score of 417-8 declared in their first innings. Earlier, Benazirabad had totalled 189 in their first innings.

Hyderabad’s Sharjeel Khan was declared man-of-the-match for his match-winning century.
