KARACHI, June 17: Laurentian Blue FC and Karachi United earned wins in the two matches played in the 1st All Karachi Ali Asghar Women Football Tournament at the CDGK Stadium here on Friday.
Laurentian Blue FC beat hosts Ali Asghar Women Football Club 2-0. The goals for the winners were scored by Arusha Iqbal (eighth min) and Maheen Afridi (35th min).
In the other match, Karachi United beat Karachi Women FC 1-0 with Anushey Hussain getting the decider in the 10th minute.
