KARACHI, May 27: The match between IBA United and the Aga Khan University (AKU) on day three of the IBA United All-Star Championship at the CDGK Stadium ended in a 0-0 draw with both sides guilty of not finishing the chances that fell their way.

The IBA had a better first half but could not pull ahead.

AKU forward Waleed had a great chance when he was brought down inside the penalty area.

The referee, however, cited it as a mere collision and dismissed his claim.

Fuad and Haisam impressed on a number of occasions for the IBA setting up Temur but the forward was unable to make the most of his chances.

The AKU started the second half as the better side but the IBA came back into the game.

Waleed was again guilty of wasteful finishing and Faraz Khan of the IBA blasted his effort over the bar from point blank range. Both teams top the group level on points.

The final round of group games will be held on Saturday with the AKU taking on SZABIST (4.30pm) and IBA United facing IoBM (6.00pm).
