NAWABSHAH, Oct 22: A man killed his two wives and a sister in Deh 5 Nusrat near Bandhi on Tuesday.

According to details, Qadir Bux Dahri, who was released from Sukkur jail on Oct 18, killed his two wives — Amirzadi, 27 and Ayesha, 25 — as well as his sister Amina, 24, and escaped.

Qadir Bux Dahri was jailed in a murder case two years ago. Bandhi police have lodged an FIR.

PROTEST: Over 50 women belonging to the Hoath tribe staged a sit-in against police failure to arrest the murderers of Haji Umeed Ali Hoath.

The protest was staged near the office of the DPO (Investigations) on Tuesday.

Umeed Ali, 45, was killed in a clash between two groups of Hoath tribesmen a few days ago.

The women, belonging to his faction of the Hoath tribe, demanded immediate arrest of the murderers of Umeed Ali.
