LARKANA, May 17: Police on Tuesday recovered two men kidnapped 20 days ago from the katcha. DPO Larkana Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh said Aqib and Azhar Mirani were kidnapped from Nadir Shah in Ratodero and were released only after police pressure near a ferry point in the limits of Ketti Mumtaz police station. The two men were then reunited with their families.

A head constable Ibrahim Khosos of Dari police station was deprived of his service rifle, motorcycle and wireless set in a separate incident. The incident happened during a regular snap-checking in Mahar village in city's outskirts.

The criminals tossed a stone at the head constable and deprived him of rifle, motorcycle and a wireless set as he fell down, said the DPO.

Police had rounded up more than 30 persons and hopefully everything would be recovered soon, he added.
