KARACHI, May 9: Fakhar Zaman captured four wickets as Karachi Dolphins clinched the All Sindh Inter-district Twenty20 cricket trophy when they defeated Jamshoro by eight wickets in the final at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium here on Sunday night.

Slow left-armer Fakhar claimed four wickets for mere seven runs as the inexperienced Jamshoro were restricted to 80-9 in 20 overs. Shahnawaz made 24.

Off-spinner Misbah Khan took two wickets for 13 runs.

Karachi Dolphins, in reply, romped home for the loss of just two wickets in 13th over with Shaharyar Ghani hitting six boundaries in an unbeaten 43.

Sindh Sports Minister Dr Mohammad Ali Shah, who was the chief guest, distributed the prizes. Karachi Dolphins were presented with winners’ trophy and Rs200,000 while Jamshoro got Rs100,000.

Among the individual awards, Man-of-the-Match Fakhar earned Rs10,000, while Rs15,000 each were given to Fazal Subhan (best batsman), Kamran Qureshi (best bowler), Farhan Chachar (best fielder) and Javed Mansoor (best wicket-keeper).
