KARACHI, Oct 19: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi will declare the HSC Part-I (Humanities-regular) annual examinations results on October 21.

A board notification said that the results would also be available on the BIE’s website: www.biek.edu.pk.

In the meantime, the board has issued the mark sheets of HSC Part-II annual examinations of humanities group, and colleges which have not received the mark sheets so far could collect the same from the board office, said a board communique, adding that students should contact their respective colleges for mark sheets.

DATE EXTENDED: The Inter Board has once again extended the date for submission of enrolment forms of the humanities group for the 2003 annual examinations.

A BIE notification on Saturday said that enrolment forms of humanities group (HSC Part-I) students, which could not be submitted due to the delay in the announcement of the CAP list for admission to colleges, would be accepted with the normal fee of Rs200 upto Oct 31.

The principals of the recognized colleges have been asked to forward the leftover enrolment cases to the board within the stipulated period positively.

PROVISIONAL ADMISSION: Another circular of the board said that the BIE, in its meeting held on Oct 8, allowed all those students who have not studied biology at the SSC level, to get provisional admission in pre-medical group (Class XI), provided they appeared in biology subject in the ensuing supplementary or annual examination on the basis of a certificate given by the head of the parent school where he or she had attended practical classes of biology. On passing the subject, admission will be confirmed, added the circular.
