LARKANA, April 28: Police registered an FIR against a former SHO and four others on Thursday on the orders of the Sindh High Court, circuit court Larkana for kidnapping and raping a flood-affected girl. Ratodero Police booked former SHO of Waris Dino Machi police station and Saifullah Bughio, Ismaiel Tunio, Bachal Faqeer Tunio and Nazir Tunio on the complaint of the girl.

Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Larkana Rizwan Soomro, DSP Ratodero Meeran Khan Durrani, DSP (Prosecution) Baloch Khan Abro and the rape-victim appeared in the court when Mr Justice Imam Bakhsh Baloch took up the case.

The SP told the court that the medical certificate would be provided by Friday and police were on the look-out of the SHO when questioned about the two.

The court ordered the SP for executing non-bail able warrants issued against the SHO Saifullah Bughio and adjourned the case for May 4. It ordered production of the SHO or else adverse order would be passed.

The girl's lawyer Rafique Abro said that the DPO Larkana had suspended the SHO of Waris Dino Machi and issued him show-cause notice.

He filed a petition on April 20, against the DIG and the DPO of Larkana, the SPO and the SHO of Ratodero and the SHO of Waris Dino Machi police station, Saifullah Bughio, who was accused of raping the girl.
