HYDERABAD, April 20: Police have apprehended the man who had reportedly killed two transvestites three days ago. Bodies of Faqir Ali alias Kali, 32, and Waseem, 28, were found from Brohi para.

Police noted that someone had slit throat of Faqir Ali while Waseem was strangulated to death.

“They narrated facts as to how the double murder took place because one of the murdered transvestite Faqir had met him minutes before the incident when Kashif returned from a programme”, he told .

According to Station House Officer of Makki Shah police station, he interrogated Zubair Naqvi, who runs a cable system in Latifabad. He confessed the crime and started weeping that he had committed a sin and then killed them.

The Station House Officer quoted Zubair as saying he had been in love with Waseem and on that night he stayed with him at the house of Wasim's sister in Brohi para. They also drank liquour.

Waseem then sent Kali for tea. Kali stayed outside and in the meantime Kashif and Altaf arrived there.

Zubair then stabbed him with the same and also strangulated him with a steel wire. When Kali entered the house he was also attacked by Zubair, who slit his throat with the same glass.

After having been picked up, police took him to CIA centre for interrogation.
