QUETTA, Jan 30: A health centre set up by a foreign non-governmental organisation in the border town of Chaman was blown up on Sunday morning.

Levies Force sources said that saboteurs planted an explosive device in the building and detonated it.

An official of the local administration, Habibullah Khan, said the building was badly damaged in the explosion that rocked the entire town.

The building had been constructed by the MSN to provide health facilities to people of the border town.

Windowpanes of nearby houses and buildings were also damaged in the blast.
