LAKKI MARWAT, Jan 26: Two women were kidnapped in Mir Hazar Khanzadkhel and Tajori areas of the district. Younas Khan told Ghaznikhel police that Gul Sher, Mustafa, Nawaz and Khan Zaman abducted his daughter from his house in Mir Hazar Khanzadkhel village.

“One of the accused identified as Khan Zaman has been arrested. A pistol along with nine bullets was recovered from his possession,” said a police official.

Police said that a married woman was also abducted from her house in Tajori town. The husband of the kidnapped woman, Sher Nawaz, told Tajori police that that Syed Wali and his brother Taj Wali kidnapped his wife from his house.

Meanwhile, police said that a widow was sexually harassed in Wanda Samandi, a remote village in Kurrum Par area of the district.

The woman lodged an FIR with Dadiwala police station against Gul Tayaz, Gul Faraz and Gul Daraz for entering her house with bad intentions and harassing her sexually.

“On my refusal, they tore my clothes and took away my earrings,” she said.

Police registered a case against the accused person and started investigation.
