Dacoits shoot girl

GUJRANWALA, Jan 26: Dacoits killed a girl and made off with cash and gold worth Rs650,000 in Fatehgarh village near Ghakkhar Town here on Wednesday.

Reports said five armed men entered the house of Boota and made his daughter, Sadia Rani, 24, and sons Khyzar Hayyat, 22, and Mubeen, 18, hostage at gunpoint.

They collected Rs250,000 in cash, gold ornaments and cell phones worth Rs400,000 and shot dead Rani on resistance.
