LAHORE: The British couple which was kidnapped for ransom had been recovered by the police from Gulberg Lahore, DawnNews reported on Saturday.

According to the police, 24 years old British national, Jema Louis William with her British-Pakistani husband Syed Owais was kidnapped six days ago when went for shopping in a shopping plaza on Main Boulevard Lahore.

Later on, five million rupees ransom was demanded from the family of abducted couple.

The kidnappers were using the mobile phones of the abducted couple and according to very reliable sources the captors had already received 0.2 million rupees, as a first ransom installment.
