SAHIWAL, Sept 30: The PML-QA public meeting which was to be addressed by party’s Punjab president Chaudhry Pervez Elahi in Sahiwal on Monday was cancelled.
The meeting was to be addressed by the party leaders at 4pm but till 7pm no-one turned up to the venue of the meeting although the organizers kept telling the people that Elahi and others were on the way.
At last district general secretary M Latif Moghal told the people that Elahi had been summoned by the Punjab governor and hence the public meeting was being cancelled.
