KARACHI: Pakistan Police and Chaman’s Muslim FC proved their worth in do-or-die matches of the PFF League to enter the Pakistan Premier Football League 2011 as A-Division teams.

The final Super League matches of the PFF League - Departmental and Club Leg - saw Police beating Railways 2-1 and Muslim Club snatched a crucial point in a 1-1 draw with Lahore’s Wohaib FC.

The overall final - between the two top outfits of PFF League - Departmental/Club - will be played at Railway Stadium in Lahore on 15 December.

Muslim Club drew 1-1 with Wohaib FC, who equalised in the 38th minute after Hayat Ullah gave them the 31st minute lead. Muslim FC finished the Super League with ten points, followed by Wohaib with eight points.

Meanwhile, Police stunned Railways with a 2-1 win. Police were the first to score in the 47th minute through Sher Hassan, but Railways, equalized in the 63rd minute through skipper Asif Hameed.

However, Police emerged as the match winners when they scored in the 78th minute through Nasib.

Police finished with nine points, followed by Railway who had 6 points.
