LAHORE, Dec 6: Punjab Kabaddi Association's former secretary Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmad has alleged that the final of the last World Cup Circles Kabaddi played between Pakistan and India was fixed.

The match was played in India in February this year.

Addressing a press conference here, Ijaz said that he came to know about the facts of his claim during his last visit of India.

He further claimed that Pakistan lost the final, but its official had received the prize money of Indian Rs510,000, one day before the final. India received the prize of Rs10 million, he said.

He further alleged that Pakistan also lost the third position match to Iran deliberately in the last Asian Games in China as Pakistan Kabaddi Federation secretary Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar had got a seat for him in the Asian kabaddi body against that loss.—Sports Reporter
