RAWALPINDI, Nov 23 Dr Azra Fazal Pechuhu, a sister of President Asif Ali Zardari, has filed an application in the court hearing the Benazir Bhutto assassination case to seek custody of the bullet-proof vehicle riding which she was killed.

The special judge of anti-terrorism court-III, Rana Nisar Ahmed, asked the Federal Investigation Agency to present the record of the case on Dec 4 when the application will be heard.

Dr Pechuhu, an MNA from Nawabshah, has claimed to be the owner of the vehicle (BF-7772). In the application filed through Advocate Arshad Tabraiz, she said the vehicle was not needed for further investigation and could be legally handed over to her.

The white vehicle is in police custody and parked in Adiyala Lines near the district jail where the trial of five arrested men is under way.

Dr Pechuhu said the vehicle could be presented in the court whenever required.
