Young Blood, Wapda record wins

KARACHI, Nov 12 Wapda and Young Blood FC registered wins in the two Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) matches played in Lahore and Sahiwal, respectively, on Friday.

Wapda edged out the mighty Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) 1-0 at the Railway Stadium in Lahore with the golden goal being scored by Khuda Bakhsh in the 86th minute.

In the other match, played at the Rai Ali Nawaz Stadium in Sahiwal, Pakistan Army lost 1-2 to newcomers Young Blood FC despite scoring first through Mohammad Imran in the 20th minute. The goals for Young Blood were scored by Khawar Khalid (72nd min) and Asim Mansoor (82nd min).

Saturday's fixtures PEL v Pakistan Navy at the Model Town Football Academy ground, Lahore (2.30pm); PMC Athletico v PAF at PMC Football Ground, Faisalabad (2.30pm); Baloch FC v PIA at Nushki Football Stadium, Nushki (3.00pm); Afghan FC v KPT at Govt High School, Chaman (3.00pm).
