LAHORE, Oct 16 The second edition of the Super Hockey League will be held at the National Hockey Stadium from Oct 27 to Nov 7.

Eight teams, namely Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Islamabad, Quetta, Peshawar and Pakistan Academy will feature in the event which offers Rs2 million cash prizes, Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) secretary Asif Bajwa said at a press conference here on Saturday.

The secretary said the scrutiny of the players would also be conducted to discourage overage players.

He said the PHF decided to organise the event again after holding it successfully last year.

He also announced officials of the eight teams.
