Libraries needed in Hyderabad

Published October 14, 2010

LIBRARIES quench the thirst for learning and create a healthy environment to attain knowledge.

We, the residents of Latifabad (Hyderabad), are in dire need of educational libraries.

Latifabad is a populated and well-developed area of Hyderabad.

The Sindh Local Government Ordinance 2002 directed the district government to raise funds for the establishment of Citizen Community Board and libraries to ensure a harmonious environment but residents still wait in this regard.

A number of libraries are a feather in the cap of Hyderabad Shamsul Ulema Daud Pota Library, Gymkhana Library and Hasrat Mohani Library.

CSS and PCS aspirants residing in Latifabad are still in a state of flux in the absence of any efforts to establish a library.
