ISLAMABAD, Oct 5: The Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) on Tuesday announced the squad for the 12th Al-Rashid Championship to be held in Dubai from Oct 8-13.

An official of the PVF said they were hopeful of a better show by the Pakistan team headed by new captain Mohammad Ismail Khan, adding that teams from six countries — Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, India, Pakistan and hosts UAE — would test their mettle in the event.

Squad: Mohammad Ismail Khan (captain), Mohammad Razzaq, Mohib Rasool, Imdad Hussain, Syed Shuja Abbas, Farooq Khan, Ajmal Khan, Nasir Khan, Muneer Khan, Asif Nadeem, Pir Bukhsh Yasin, Zaheer Abbas.
