ISLAMABAD The Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced performance-based incentives for 19 national team players.

The PHF said in a statement on Friday that seven category 'A' players will be paid 50,000 rupees a month, seven players in category 'B' will get 40,000 rupees and five players in C category will earn 30,000 rupees.

The PHF has also given incentives to eight junior players, who will be paid 10,000 rupees a month.

The contracts run from August to November 2010, during which Pakistan is scheduled to compete in the Commonwealth Games in India and the Asian Games in China. —AP
