KARACHI, Sept 4: The administration of the University of Karachi on Wednesday sent former chairman of the Department of Zoology, Dr Pervaiz Siddiqui, on compulsory retirement on charges of insubordination, misappropriation, indulging in political activities and violation of KU E&D regulations and Government Servants’ Conduct Rules 1966.

A spokesman fo the university said the decision was taken by KU vice-chancellor Dr Zafar Saeed Saify on multiple charges levelled against the professor who could not satisfied the university management about the allegations against him. — PPI
