KARACHI, May 15 Dow University clinched the ninth AKU Inter-University basketball championship when they beat the Institute of Business Management 73-63 in the final here on Friday thanks to a brilliant show by Fahad Ahmed.
Shooter and dribbler Fahad was in outstanding form as his consistent scoring proved instrumental in his team's triumph. Zafar Ishaq (18) and Sabih Alam (11) extended him good support.
Hammad Khan put a fighting performance with 27 points but that was not enough to save his team from defeat.—APP
