KARACHI, Nov 14 Favourite and top seed Yasir Khan demolished Bilal Soomro in straight sets to move into men's singles second round of the 19th Talent Hunt Sindh Ranking Tennis championship at the City Sports Complex courts on Saturday.

Yasir, youngest of the Khan siblings, took little time to romp home 6-0, 6-0. Third seed Vinod Das registered his second straight victory when he disposed off Fayyaz Ahmed 6-0, 6-1 to advance into last eight.

The ladies singles, which has only five entries, begins on Sunday on round robin league.

First round Ahsan Mehmood walkover Saad Shahid; Mustafa Zaidi bt Noman Sarwar 6-0, 6-0; Nameer Shamsi bt Umer Usman 6-2, 6-2; Hassan Siddiqui bt Salar Umer 7-5, 6-2.
