KARACHI, Oct 7 The sixth AKU Sports Centre Inter-school boys' (under-17) basketball tournament gets into action at their gymnasium on Thursday with 14 teams vying for honours.

The teams have been drawn into four pools. Two top teams from each pool will progress into quarter-finals.

Pools

'A' Pakistan Steel Cadet College, Bay View High School, Education Bay School and Aga Khan Higher Secondary School.

'B' The CAS School, The City School Darkhshan Campus, British International School and Meritorious School Network.

'C' Shahwilayat Public School, Generation's School and Karachi Grammar School.

'D' Qamar-e-Bani Hashim School, Beacon House School System PECHS and The City School PAF Chapter.

Thursday's fixtures

Pakistan Steel Cadet College v Bay View School; CAS School v The City School Darakshan Campus and Shahwilayat School v Generation's School.
