DADU, April 24 The 14 death anniversary of the founder of Jeay Sindh Tehrik, G.M. Syed, will be observed at his native village Sann on Saturday.

A big rally led by Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz chairman Bashir Khan Qureshi and general secretary Dr Safdar Sarki will arrive in Sann from Jamshoro and the party will hold a gathering at 100pm in the noon in front of the grave of the nationalist leader.

The JSQM-Arisar group and Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz have decided to hold a joint gathering to observe the death anniversary and all arrangements in this regard have been finalised.

Abdul Wahid Arisar has invited Nawab Khair Bux Mari, Syed Amir Haider Shah, Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah and other nationalist leaders to attend the gathering.

CASES FILED Two more cases were registered on Friday against 47 leader and supporters of Pakistan Muslim League-Q and its leader Liaquat Ali Jatoi at Fareedabad and Johi police stations.

Police registered the FIR on a complaint lodged by Pakistan People`s Party leader Sikandar Khunharo against former federal minister Liaquat Ali Jatoi, his brother Sadaqat Ali Jatoi and 24 supporters and activists of the party for issuing threats.

Johi police registered an FIR against nazim of union council Sawaro, Allah Yar Rodhnani, PML-Q local leaders Dr Ibram Rind, Yousuf Solangi, Gul Mohammad Rodhnani and 17 others for holding a demonstration.

Sadaqat Ali Jatoi said that police had registered cases against his family members and supporters at different police stations in the district at the instigation of PPP MPA Imran Leghari. He termed it political victimisation and appealed to Chief Justice of Supreme Court to take its notice.
