Two girls kidnapped

LAKKI MARWAT, June 5: Two girls were kidnapped in Lakki Marwat and Serai Naurang on Wednesday.

According to official sources, the mother of a kidnapped girl, Hazrat Bibi, got registered a case of kidnapping against Behram Khan, Gulzar, Akhtar Jan, Gul Tayaz, son of Asghar, all residents of Nawarkhel, under sections 109/452 PPC in the Lakki Marwat police station.

Another case was registered against Zard Ali and his sons Mohammad Wali and Nawaz Khan, residents of Shah Hassankhel, on similar charges.

The case was lodged by Din Mohammad, son of Amir Mohammad, a relative of the kidnapped girl.

The Serai Naurang police also registered a case under Zina section 5/10 against Sakhi Zaman, son of Habibur Rehman, and his unknown accomplices.

TWO KILLED: Two people were killed, while one was seriously injured in different incidents in Wanda Aurangzeb and Tajori areas, some 25km from here, on Wednesday.

Dilawar Khan alias Dilla, was killed, while Jehanzeb alias Jhanga, was injured in a firing incident.

The Dadiwala police registered a case against Khamdullah Jan, Hidayatullah, Rahatullah, Javed, Jamal, Noor Mohammad, Riyaz and Kamal, residents of Wanda Fateh Khan.

A schoolteacher, Ghulam Mohammad, was allegedly shot dead over an old land dispute, near Serai Gambila bus stand, some 16km from here. The Tajori police registered the case against Mir Hakim and Ihsanullah alias Shano, sons of Afzal Khan, residents of Baistkhel.

GRENADE ATTACK: Unknown assailants hurled a hand-grenade at the residence of Mohammad Ibrahim alias Lodhi in the Abbakhel area. No one was injured.

PASSENGERS LOOTED: Around 10 armed highwaymen deprived the passengers of three vehicles of cash and valuables near the Panyala police station while they were travelling from their village to Dera Ismail Khan.

The bandits had erected a barricade on the road near the Pir Azim Shah turn and stopped a flying coach and taxi going to Panyala from Abbakhel, just one kilometre from the police station in the morning.

The bandits also manhandled the travellers and deprived them of cash and valuables.

In the meantime, the bandits also stopped the pick-up vehicle of a transporter, Umer Daraz, who was going to Dera Ismail Khan from the Sheru Kallay. They harassed and abused the women passengers and deprived them of their precious belongings.
